Program Eligibility for County Health Programs
If you are already enrolled in the Senior Program, Maternity Partnership program, or the Care for Kids program, call the County dental clinic closest to your home to schedule an appointment for a dental check-up or other services.
- Children (ages 18 and younger), pregnant women, and seniors (age 60 and older) may enroll in person at the Office of Eligibility and Support Services locations listed below.

Eligibility Requirements
- Montgomery County resident
- Family income no greater than 250% of federal poverty guidelines
- Uninsured or have no dental insurance
- Pregnant women must be enrolled in the Maternity Partnership program before seeking dental treatment.
- Children must be enrolled in the Care for Kids program before seeking dental treatment.
Fees and Payments
Children--$10 per visit
Pregnant Women--$10 per visit
Adults/Seniors--$20 per visit, $30 emergency visit
FAQ's
1. Where can I get free dental care?
No clinics advertise free dental care. However, there may be payment options to help pay for services.
2. Do you provide braces?
No. Brace are provided under the specialty practice of orthodontics. We can provide you with various resources where you can find out more about this type of specialty care.
3. Do you pull teeth?
Yes, we provide non-surgical extractions, and limited oral surgery but only at the recommendation of the examining general dentist. For more complex needs beyond the normal practice or capabilities of the general dentists practicing in a public health clinic, you will be provided with a list of resources.
4. Do you take Medicare?
No. However, if you do not have dental coverage under your Medicare insurance, you may be eligible for dental care in our clinic, provided you also meet the income eligibility criteria.
5. Do you provide dentures?
No.
