Business Incubator Space and Innovation Programs in Montgomery County
Montgomery County manages three business incubators to help you grow your business. These facilities are conveniently located near federal, academic, and nonprofit research agencies; life sciences and technology industry partners; Metrorail, town centers and major travel routes. All facilities feature a full menu of resources and support services, including business consulting, legal and accounting resources, intellectual property and commercialization assistance, and access to state and county funding programs to support business growth. These three facilities also all are part of the Maryland Global Gateway Soft Landing Program, providing extra support to qualified international companies who use incubator space to launch their US headquarters or East Coast operations.

With easy access to I-270, the Montgomery County Germantown Innovation Center (GIC) is a premier office and laboratory space for life sciences companies featuring wet lab space and access to Montgomery College's state-of-the-art biotech facilities.
The GIC is located on the Pinkney Innovation Campus at Montgomery College (PIC MC) which has been designated by the State of Maryland as a RISE Zone, providing additional benefits to qualified companies.

The Rockville Innovation Center has MedTech and other High-Tech focus office space. You'll be inspired working in this incubator housed in the same building as Rockville Town Square's VisArts Center, whose artists deck the halls with their creations.
The Town Center is filled with restaurants and shops and is steps away from the Red Line Metrorail stop.

The Silver Spring Innovation Center (SSIC) provides office space for all industries. Located steps away from the nation's capital in Silver Spring’s vibrant downtown corridor, the SSIC incubator boasts an industrial feel for its technology companies that are proud to plant roots there. The Silver Spring Innovation Center is in a qualified historically underutilized business zone. The HUBZone program fuels small business growth with a goal of awarding at least three percent of federal contract dollars to HUBZone-certified companies each year.
