There are two types of employment opportunities at the Circuit Court: State of Maryland and Montgomery County positions. Each has different posting and application processes.

Court Administration (Montgomery County) Positions

How to apply

Steps to apply for employment opportunities within Court Administration:
  1. Download the Employment Application (PDF).

    NOTE: The application form requires you to have Adobe Reader version 8 or higher. Visit the Adobe Acrobat website to download the latest Adobe Reader version for free. Adobe Reader must be installed and set as your default PDF viewer to complete the application.

  2. Complete the application in its entirety. Your application may be rejected if information is missing.
  3. Be sure to save your application to your local computer early and often.
  4. Once you are finished, email the completed application, cover letter, resume, and writing sample to Completed application packages may also be hand-delivered to Court Administration (50 Maryland Avenue, North Tower, Room 3040), although this is not necessary if you have already emailed them.

If you are using GOOGLE CHROME browser, follow these steps:

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Select the Menu icon (the one with the three vertical dots) from the top-right hand corner of the screen   
  3. Select Settings
  4. Scroll down and select Advanced
  5. Under Privacy and Security, select Content Settings
  6. Select PDF documents
  7. Set the “Download PDF files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome” to On (blue dot is showing)  
  8. Restart Chrome
