Ijeoma Enendu
Ijeoma Enendu was appointed to the commission in June 2019. She is a patrol sergeant with the Montgomery County Police Department and is assigned to the Wheaton District.
When she is not working, she continues to serve her community through various community service projects and via the many organizations she is involved in. Ijeoma is the former President of Odessa Shannon Middle School's PTSA and the current Vice President of John F. Kennedy High School's PTSA. She is a co-Troop Leader for Girl Scout Troop #4508. She is the 2nd Vice President for the Lambda Kappa Mu Sorority, Inc. and serves as the social secretary for the Nnewi Community Organization of the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area. Ijeoma is also the President of Montgomery Women.
Ijeoma earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the University of Maryland. She is originally from Iowa City, Iowa, and though she considers herself a Hawkeye for life, she embraces the Terrapin within her. Ijeoma resides in Montgomery County with her daughter.
