LaDonna S. King
LaDonna S. King, MS, OTR/L currently serves as a Clinical Health Care Education Facilitator- Occupational Therapy Subject Matter Expert on an Interprofessional Team with a government health agency. Through this position, Ms. King promotes the mission to provide enterprise-wide Continuing Education/ Continuing Medical Education (CE/CME) activities to all health care professionals who support the full range of military operations of sustaining the health of those entrusted to government medical care.
LaDonna also serves an Instructor with a collegiate Occupational Therapy Assistant Program progressing the skillset of new promising Occupational Therapy practitioners. She continues to treat patients privately and completes Environment Modification and Safety Assessments with partnering businesses.
She was born and raised in North Carolina. LaDonna went on to graduate from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and from Winston Salem University with a Master’s of Science in Occupational Therapy (OT).
Ms. King has over 10 plus years of experience within Higher Health Care Education and key experience as an Occupational Therapist assisting primarily Adult and Geriatric populations across all settings and once served as a Contract/Travel Therapist with past/current licensure in MD, IL, CA, TX, NC. Ms. King is also a Nationally Registered Occupational Therapist with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
