This project, located in Gaithersburg, Maryland, is for the rehabilitation of an existing triple-cell, 45-inch-diameter corrugated metal pipe (CMP) culvert located under Amity Drive, over an unnamed Tributary to Mill Creek. The work consists of installing an access route across M-NCPPC park property and installing a maintenance-of-stream-flow pump to operate the placement of a cure-in-place-pipe (CIPP) liner. The project will impact 368 linear feet of the existing 45-inch corrugated metal pipe culvert. The work also includes installing erosion and sediment control devices, constructing curb and gutter, maintaining traffic, and landscaping on M-NCPPC park property.
The project’s Notice to Proceed has been issued. The Contractor, D&F Construction Company, Inc., proposes to commence preparation activities mid-May 2026, with the Cure in Place Pipe liner installation to begin June 2026. The project is slated for completion in the Fall of 2026, weather permitting.
