The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) has completed a project to design and construct a pedestrian bridge over a tributary to the Northwest Branch Anacostia River. Connecting existing walking paths between Auth Lane and Kersey Road, the bridge will enhance pedestrian safety of the traveling public.
The Auth Lane Pedestrian Bridge project was completed in June of 2025, and the new pedestrian bridge is now open for public use.
