Bethesda Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities

 

Within downtown Bethesda, MCDOT is working on several projects to improve pedestrian and bicyclist safety and mobility.

Some projects have been funded through the Bethesda Bicycle & Pedestrian Facilities CIP (500119), while others have been funded through other CIP projects, developer contributions, or work by other agencies.

Recently Completed Projects:

• Bethesda Ave / Arlington Ave all-pedestrian signal phase
• Bethesda Ave / Woodmont Ave all-pedestrian signal phase

• Woodmont Avenue Cycletrack – Phase 1
• Woodmont Avenue Cycletrack – Phase 2A
