Bridge Preservation County-Wide XI

This project involves the cleaning and painting of 7 County bridges located at various locations in the County. Work activities consist of, but not limited to:

  • (a) Cleaning and preparation of structures surfaces to be painted as defined in the Special Provision.
  • (b) Contain, capture, maintain, store, and dispose of paint debris as required by regulations.
  • (c) Obtain and file all necessary permits and reports as required by regulations.
  • (d) Repair structural members as required after inspection.
  • (e) Installation of grout bags for protection of scour & undermined areas designated per plans.
  • (f) Painting of prepared surfaces with the paint system as specified.

The project’s Notice To Proceed has been issued. The Contractor, Manolis Painting Inc., proposes to commence work in the Summer of 2024. The project is slated for completion in the Fall of 2024, weather permitting.
