County Executive Marc Elrich and Council President Sidney Katz are embarking on a multi-pronged joint initiative: 4Business – Benchmarking to Be the Best for Business.

The objective is to engage the local business community in a grassroots campaign to assist businesses to locate, grow and prosper in Montgomery County.

Additional business input is key to the 4Business initiative to assist businesses to locate, grow and prosper in Montgomery County.  

4BUSINESS CHARRETTES
There were two Public Charettes held to gather input on the comments received during the public input process, as well as improvements suggested and underway.  Participants will have the opportunity to join in discussions at various Topic Tables to react to suggestions so far, ideas for improvement, and to make additional suggestions for how the County can better serve and enhance its business community.

Below are the five Topics discussed at the last session held on December 9th. h.  The Discussion Sheets list the Key Issues gathered from the Listening Sessions, the survey, and input to the website. Next to each Key Issue is listed Recent Improvements and Possible Solutions suggested so far. New suggestions will be added at the charrettes.
