Labor Management Relations Committees (LMRC)
A committee comprised of union and management members that meets periodically to surface and resolve issues in a collaborative and transparent way. These committees are established at the County, Department and Office levels, and all members have received training in decorum and best practices. Topics for discussion may include health, safety, training opportunities, facilities, County processes and procedures, etc.
County-wide
- The UFCW Local 1994/MCGEO County wide LMRC consists of a maximum of ten representatives from the County and a maximum of ten representatives from the Union. This committee meets on a bimonthly basis and in accordance with Article 29.4 of the contract bargaining agreement.
Department
- MCGEO LMRCs meet quarterly or more often in accordance with their ground rules and report to the County-wide LMRC.
- The IAFF LMRC meets at least quarterly to discuss all matters of mutual concern.
- The FOP LMRC meets at least quarterly on the 3rd Wednesday in January, March, June and September each year of this agreement, (months occurring during term bargaining excepted) from 10:00 a.m. until noon.
