Welcome to the Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF)

CUPF provides community organizations and public agencies with access to public schools and government facilities for community services, programs, and events. Many County facilities are available to host community activities after business hours, and at affordable rates. CUPF issues use permits for public access to County facilities at scheduled times. Below are the types of venues that may be reserved through CUPF.

Available Venues

• Athletic Fields Reserve a Montgomery County artificial turf or grass athletic fields.
• Civic Building Book your next event at the Silver Spring Civic Building at Veterans Plaza.
• Public Libraries Meeting rooms are available in several County Public Library buildings.
• Public Schools Reserve a Montgomery County Public School indoor or outdoor facility.
• Government Buildings Book a room in the Council Office Building or the Isiah “Ike” Leggett Executive Office Building.


• Service Centers Meeting rooms are available in Montgomery County Regional Service Center buildings.
• Clarksburg Cottage Have your next meeting at the Clarksburg Cottage, open year round, except holidays.
• Wheaton Urban Dist Book Your Next Event in the Wheaton Urban District: Marian Fryer Plaza, Veterans Urban Park
