Enterprise Services - Cabling Requirements & Standards
The County’s goal is to standardize its cabling infrastructure to promote faster speed, better communication, easier troubleshooting, and less need for repair. The DTS Enterprise Telecommunications Division offers connectivity for telecommunications equipment throughout the County. Cable installation services are offered by the County and by outside Contractors.
Cabling Requirements & Standards
The DTS Enterprise Telecommunications PBX Telephone Service Team maintains a cabling standard that should be included in all RFPs and Contracts that pertain to network cabling. The cable standard can be found here.
