NEWBRIDGE DRIVE WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
Updated May 26, 2015
Newbridge Drive will be closed beginning June 3, 2015 as MCDOT and its contractor restore waterline connections that were previously disconnected when a new culvert was installed in late 2014. The short-term road closure is expected to re-open by the 4th of July Holiday weekend.
To accommodate this work, the WSSC has a brief, planned, water service interruption as they reconnect the pipe. Thirty-seven homes along Newbridge Drive, Hunt Valley Court, Mayberry Court, and Twin Creek Court will be affected by this interruption. As in the past, the interruption will be planned to minimize inconvenience to those affected. For your information, a map of the affected properties is provided below. Again, the interruption is planned, but an exact date is not yet known. The WSSC will be communicating with residents directly regarding the interruption of service. The temporary interruption to water service will also be coordinated with the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service as a precautionary measure.
