Low Voltage Electrical Permit Permit & Inspection Process
Low voltage electrical systems are designed to operate at 50 volts or less. This includes (but not limited to) fire alarm systems wiring, cable TV systems, telephone systems, audio/video systems, computer network wiring and all systems operating at or below 50 volts. A license is not required to apply for a low voltage permit. If the work is for low voltage only, leave the “Application # of the Parent Permit” field blank. Manually enter the property address in the "Location of Work" fields, following the instructions in Step 1.
Please email Electrical & Mechanical inquiries to:

To begin using ePermits and ePlans, please send a brief email request for a user account to [email protected] if you are properly licensed and have not already done so or you can visit our DPS eServices Page for additional information.
