Electrician In Good Standing Letter Process
If an electrical master, limited master, or journeyman wishes to obtain an Electrician in Good Standing Letter from the Board of Electrical Examiners they may do so by mail or in person at the Department of Permitting Services offices. The petitioner must hold a valid license with Montgomery County for at least one year and have had no infractions before a letter of good standing can be issued.

Requests for Electrician Good Standing Letter(s) can be submitted by mail. Request letters are received, processed and mailed out within ten (10) business days. The request letter can also be submitted in person at the Department of Permitting Services offices. The renewal is processed while the applicant or authorized representative waits.
