Dear Investor:
The levy year 2023 Montgomery County Tax Lien Sale is held on June 10, 2024, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time. Please submit your bid during these hours. Bids cannot be accepted by the County outside those hours.
Attention Bidders:
The County maintains a firewall to protect the computer system from viruses, inappropriate language and damaging material, including certain attachments to e-mails. To avoid any firewall problems and ensure that your bid is on time and correctly applied, please submit your bid as follows:
1. In your e-mail Subject line please write: Tax Lien Sale Bid
2. The preferred method is to submit bids that include the bid information in the body of the e-mail. This avoids a potential problem with attachments. You may wish to copy and paste language from an existing document into the e-mail.
3. If you wish to send an attachment with your e-mail, use only Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word documents.
4. The size of the e-mail and/or attachment cannot exceed 5MB.
5. We recommend that you submit your bid early in the day. In that case, if a problem arises, there may be time to correct the error.
6. As with any system, power outages or technology problems may arise that are outside the control of the County and that may affect your bid submission. Therefore, if you wish to be certain that your bid is received during the auction hours ( 8:00 am to 2:00 pm on June 10, 2024) you may consider an additional bid submission method in case there is a problem.
