Below is a letter I sent to County Executive Elrich and Montgomery County Police Chief Marcus Jones requesting that more areas of the County be eligible for the MCPD's Private Security Camera Incentive Program. It is imperative that the designated priority areas be determined by the most currently available crime data. Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home or at their place of work.
