The Montgomery County Government is a large organization with many departments, hundreds of functions and thousands of employees. My office can help you navigate agencies and departments and provide you with the help you need.
My office is ready to help you navigate the Montgomery County government. County agencies and departments are responsible for administering the delivery of a variety of public services. Whether you need your sidewalk fixed or simply need for more information on a county program, my staff and I are ready to assist you. Please click here to access our service request form.
I like to recognize members of our community, organizations, and movements that are worthy of recognition! Please click here to access the Certificate/Proclamation Request form to request official recognition from my office. Certificates and proclamations are typically presented on-site at the Montgomery County Council or off-site via special request. Presentations usually occur in the mornings when the Council is in session and typically last around five minutes.
The Office of Councilmember Evan Glass offers internships to high school and college students throughout the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Students can expect to gain substantive experience in the legislative and constituent service processes of a county council office. To apply, click here.

Outside of the County government, organizations like the Housing Opportunities Commission and Montgomery County Housing Partnership offer housing resources to Montgomery County residents.
If you or someone you know is in need of a meal, visit Montgomery County’s food assistance page for information of food distribution events and organizations that offer meals to those in need.
The Montgomery County Food Council has published a map of call organizations within Montgomery County that are working to provide meals to Montgomery County residents. View the map here to find the nearest meal to you.
Montgomery County Public Schools as well as Montgomery College offer a variety of student support and engagement resources that focus on academic achievement and mental health wellness.
Organizations like EveryMind provide mental health resources to youth in Montgomery County. If you or someone you know need to talk to someone, call the Montgomery County helpline at: 301-738-2255.
College scholarships information:
Montgomery College Board of Trustees Scholarship offers scholarships for Montgomery County high school graduates who plan to enroll at any Montgomery College campus. The scholarship is for one year and covers the full-time cost of tuition and fees. Click here to learn more about the scholarship and how to apply.
Are you an Engineering or Computer Science student? The National Science Foundation awarded Montgomery College grant funding to assist engineering and computer science students.
