This event is On-Going.  Individuals interested must contact the 4th District Station for more information, as appointments are scheduled based on the availability of the mechanics. Individuals can also sign up here:
Tile Program:
This program is a part of our auto theft prevention initiative to locate one's vehicle in the event it is stolen. 
Appointments will be scheduled in the fall.

Wheel Locks We are still offering steering wheel locks for free for Montgomery County residents in the Wheaton District. Individuals interested in obtaining a wheel lock can email: for more information and to schedule an appointment to pick up one. 
Fentanyl Test Kits
The Wheaton District partnered with the Department of Health and Human Services to distribute Fentanyl Test Kits for parents. The kits are available for free (two per household) and will only be issued to parents. If you are interested in obtaining the kits(s). Please contact Sergeant Enendu at:
Wheaton Community Safety Summit
The Wheaton Community Safety Summit is coming to the 4th District Station on September 7, 2023, from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. 
This event brings the resources in our community to you. Our allied agencies will be on hand to provide information on protecting your family and safeguarding property. We will also have information on mental health and opioid misuse.
This is a family event- please bring your children, neighbors and friends! There will be music, games, facepainting, food trucks and giveaways for attendees!

Auto Theft Prevention Initiative Update!!!

Due to the overwhelming interest in the MCPD 4th District Auto Theft Prevention Initiative, the current allotment of Tile devices have been distributed. While we evaluate this pilot program, we are accepting names to be placed on a waitlist if this program is expanded. The waitlist can be accessed here: Wait List
