Tile Program
This program is a part of our auto theft prevention initiative to locate one's vehicle in the event it is stolen. 
Appointments will be scheduled in the fall.

Wheel Locks We are still offering steering wheel locks for free to Montgomery County residents in the Wheaton District. Individuals interested in obtaining a wheel lock can email [email protected] for more information and to schedule an appointment to pick one up. 
 
Fentanyl Test Kits
The Wheaton District partnered with the Department of Health and Human Services to distribute Fentanyl Test Kits to parents. The kits are available for free (two per household) and will only be issued to parents. If you are interested in obtaining the kits(s). Please contact Sergeant Enendu at: [email protected]

Private Security Camera Incentive Program

The Montgomery County Department of Police is committed to working in partnership with the community and has launched a Police-Private Security Camera Incentive Program to deter and solve crime by incentivizing the installation of security cameras in geographic areas experiencing relatively high crime rates. Beginning November 15, 2023, an owner or tenant of a property that is used as a residence, business, or nonprofit organization located within an eligible priority area may apply.

Auto Theft Prevention Initiative Update!!!

Due to the overwhelming interest in the MCPD 4th District Auto Theft Prevention Initiative, the current allotment of Tile devices have been distributed.
