The Great Seneca Transit Network project is located in Gaithersburg, Maryland. Phase 1A provides for the construction of a designated bus-lane and the installation of 24 bus stops which will connect the Shady Grove Metrorail Station to the Traville Transit Center at the Universities of Shady Grove (Pink & Lime Lines), including stops at Medical Center Drive & Johns Hopkins University; Medical Center Way & Adventist Medical Center; the Traville Transit Center at the Universities at Shady Grove, Crown Farm and Broschart Road. The proposed work also includes storm drain installations, curb & gutter reconstruction and landscaping.

Notice to proceed has been issued on the Great Seneca Transit Network project. Work will begin in the Fall of 2023. The project is slated for completion in the Summer of 2024.
