Garnett and Elizabeth B. Garnett and Montgomery County, Maryland, for the granting of easements for the Mouth of Monocacy Road over CSX Railroad Bridge No. M-135 - CIP No. 500106 is hereby accepted.  The County Attorney is directed to take all necessary steps to acquire the easements.  Effective Date:  11/15/06.

MCEO NO. 346-06:  DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND TRANSPORTATION - Father Hurley
Boulevard Extended - CIP No. 500516.  A public hearing will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, January 18, 2007, in the Lobby Level Auditorium of the Executive Office Building located at 101 Monroe St, Rockville, Maryland, to consider a proposal to construct an improvement to Father Hurley Boulevard, located in the Germantown Planning Area. The improvement consists of a one mile extension of Father Hurley Boulevard, south from its existing terminus near Wisteria Drive, to its master-planned termination at Germantown Road.  The roadway is to be constructed as a four-lane divided highway with curb and gutter, a five foot sidewalk on the east side, and an eight foot bikeway on the west side.  The project includes a bridge over the CSX Railroad and several retaining walls designed to reduce impacts to adjacent properties.  Street lighting, landscaping and stormwater management will be provided and traffic signals will be installed at intersections with Germantown Road and at Hopkins Road.  Estimated cost of the proposed improvement and funding allocations are as follows:  Montgomery County - $16,282,000.00.  The total estimated cost of the project - $16,282,000.00.  The purpose of the hearing is to obtain public comments to assist in the determination to authorize construction of this project   Effective Date:  11/28/06.
