MCER NO. 14-04:   ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF  HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS

REGULATION -  Ma ximum Income Limits for Moderately Priced Housing Program

SUMMARY:  This regulation establishes the maximum income eligibility limits for individuals and households who want to purchase or rent moderately priced dwelling units constructed and marketed under Chapter 25A of the Montgomery County Code.  The adopted regulation supersedes 8-02.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 14-04, Maximum Income Limits for Moderately Priced Housing Program, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 process, effective March 1, 2005.

MCER NO.  24-04:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION -

Adoption of the 2003 IBC, IRC, IECC, IMC, and IFGC


SUMMARY:  This regulation adopts the 2003 editions of the International Building Code (IBC), the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), the International Mechanical Code (IMC) and the International Residential Code (IRC) with amendments.  It governs all buildings and structures within Montgomery County.  The adopted regulation supersedes 35-01 and 36-01.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 24-04, Adoption of the 2003 IBC, IRC, IECC,IMC, and IFGC, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective April 1, 2005.

AUTHORIZATION AND PROCEDURAL METHOD:  Montgomery County Code, 1994, Section 8-13, 8-14.  Method 2.

MCER NO.  25-04:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION -           Adoption of the 2002 National Electrical Code

SUMMARY:  This regulation adopts the National Electrical Code, 2002 Edition, with local amendments.  The regulation applies to all electrical equipment installations and activities within the county.  The adopted regulation supersedes 6-96.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 25-04, Adoption of the 2002 National Electrical Code, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective April 1, 2005.
