MONTGOMERY COUNTY REGISTER NOTICE

A new job class has been created.  The new job class is Self-contained Breathing Apparatus Technician, Grade 14.  The Director of the Office of Human Resources has determined under Section 33-105(b) of the Montgomery County Code that the job class must be included in the Office, Professional, and Technical (OPT) bargaining unit because it falls within the definition of "employee" under Section 33-102(4)(O).

Any individual or agent of the representative certified under County law to represent the OPT bargaining unit who disagrees with this determination may file an objection with Andrew Strongin, the Montgomery County Labor Relations Administrator, at 4601 North Park Avenue #908, Chevy Chase, Maryland  20815.  Objections must be filed within 10 days of publication of this Register.

In accordance with Section 33-105(b) of the Montgomery County Code, the Director of the Office of Human Resources has determined that the following job classification falls under one of the exclusions provided for in Section 33-102(4) and therefore is not eligible for inclusion in the bargaining unit.

Any individual or agent of the certified bargaining unit may file an objection to this determination with Montgomery County Labor Relations Administrator, Andrew Strongin at 4601 North Park Avenue #908, Chevy Chase, Maryland  20815.  Objections must be filed within 10 days of the publication of this notice.
