MCER NO. 18-06AM :  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS

                                  REGULATION - Requirements and Procedures for Workforce Housing Program

SUMMARY:  Chapter 25B of the Montgomery County Code, 2004, as amended,. established the provisions of the Workforce Housing Law.  This regulation establishes the policies and procedures for the administration of the Workforce Housing Law.  The regulation is applicable to subdivisions having a Workforce Housing requirement, to Workforce Housing  Units (WFH Units) which are sold, resold or rented through the program, and to persons or households applying for eligibility to purchase or rent a WFH Unit.  This amended regulation changes the method under which the sales prices for WFH units will be calculated under Section 5.  The proposed regulation would supersede Temporary Executive Regulation 18-06T.

MCER NO. 19-07:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION -

                            Buildings - Energy Efficiency and Environmental Design

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation establishes a process for enforcement of the Montgomery County Bill 17-06, Buildings - Energy Efficiency and Environmental Design.  The regulation applies to any newly constructed or extensively modified non-residential or multi-family residential building that has or will have at least 10,000 square feet or gross floor area.

MCER NO. 20-07:  PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION -

                            Overtime Offset Fees

SUMMARY:  The proposed regulation changes the method for calculating fees for inspection in order to recover inspection costs.  The proposed regulation would supersede Executive Regulation 17-97.
