MCER NO. 18-06AM:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS REGULATION - Requirements and Procedures for the Workforce Housing Program
 

 

SUMMARY:  This regulation establishes the policies and procedures for the administration of the Workforce Housing Program established under Chapter 25B of the Montgomery County Code 2006 as amended.  The adopted regulation supersedes 18-06T.
 

 

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 18-06AM, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 review process, effective 7/31/07.

MCER NO. 29-06:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AND TRANSPORTATION REGULATION - Memorandum of Understanding for Solid Waste Collectors
 

 

SUMMARY:  This regulation prevents the possibility of unpaid refuse being commingled with prepaid residential refuse and being deposited at the transfer station as all prepaid.  Non-prepaid refuse is handled as paid at the time of disposal at the transfer station, while the residential refuse for one and two-family dwellings and multifamily buildings of less than (7) dwellings is prepaid for refuse disposal on resident's tax bill.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 29-06, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective 7/19/07.

MCER NO. 17-07:  ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION - Schedule of Fees for Permits, Licenses and Inspections - Method 2
 

 

SUMMARY:  This regulation, in general, increases, by 6.7% permit and license fees that cover the administration, plan review and enforcement programs of the Department of Permitting Services.  Section I.B.4. & 5. and II.B.4. & 5. were changed to identify separate fees for additions and alterations.  This regulation also increases by 40% permit fees for new detached single family dwellings and additions to single family dwellings that cover the administration plan-review and enforcements for Bill 26-05 Stormwater Drainage and Runoff.  This adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 10-06AM.
 

 

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 17-07, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective 7/3/07.

MCER NO. 18-07AM:  ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION - MCPR Amendment on Active Fire and Rescue Volunteers Applying for "Employees Only" Vacancies

 

SUMMARY:  This regulation amends MCPR Section 6-2 to provide that the OHR Director must allow active fire and rescue volunteers to apply for vacancy announcements that are limited to County employees only.

 

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 18-07AM, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 process, effective 7/31/07.
