MCER NO. 26-09AM: ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION Adoption of the 2009 International Building, Energy Conservation, Mechanical, Fuel-Gas, and Residential Codes SUMMARY: This regulation adopts the 2009 editions of the International Building Code (IBC), the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), the International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the International Residential Code (IRC) with amendments. It governs all buildings and structures within Montgomery County. The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 28-07. ACTION: Executive Regulation, 26-09AM, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective May 18, 2010. Email: hadi.mansouri@montgomerycountymd.gov MCER NO. 5-10AM: ADOPTED OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES REGULATION Furloughs SUMMARY: This regulation amends Sections 1, 24, and 30 of the 2001 Montgomery County Personnel regulations to update the provisions relating to furloughs in order to facilitate its application to employees who normally work other than eight hour days such as four ten hour days or compressed schedules. The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 12-00AMII, in part. ACTION: Executive Regulation, 5-10AM, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 process, effective May 20, 2010. Email: stuart.weisberg@montgomerycountymd .gov MCER NO. 6-10AM: ADOPTED FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICES REGULATION Emergency Medical Service Transport Fees SUMMARY: This regulation establishes: (1) An emergency medical services transport fee schedule; and (2) a requirement that an individual who receives an emergency medical services transport provide certain information and execute an assignment of certain health insurance benefits. ACTION: Executive Regulation, 6-10AM, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 process, effective July 1, 2010.
