Miscellaneous Amendments to the Montgomery County Personnel Regulations
SUMMARY: This regulation amends Sections 7, 10, 13, 15, and 19 of the 2001 Montgomery County Personnel Regulations to clarify and update certain provisions. The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 12-00AM II, in part.
ACTION: Executive Regulation, 23-12AM, was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 process, effective July 23, 2013.

Noncompetitive Appointment of Persons with Disabilities
SUMMARY: This regulation implements Bill No. 32-12, Expanded Hiring of Persons with Disabilities Act, enacted by the Council on February 5, 2013. The regulation amends Section 6 of the 2001 Montgomery County Personnel Regulations to establish and maintain a program for the noncompetitive appointment of qualified persons with severe development, physical, or psychiatric disabilities to County merit positions. The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 12-00AM II, in part.
ACTION: Executive Regulation 1-13AM was approved by the County Council according to the Method 1 process, effective June 25, 2013.
