MCER NO. 13-13:   ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION
                               Automation Enhancement Fee

SUMMARY:  This regulation adopts an amended fee schedule to reduce the automation enhancement fee collected for the costs of automation and technology systems and services that support administrative and enforcement activities within the development process for which the department is responsible.  This regulation reduces the automation enhancement fee from 10% of the regular permit or license fee to 5% of the regular fee.  The regulation makes permanent the fee reduction allowed by temporary regulation 13-13T.

ACTION: Executive Regulation 13-13 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process.  This regulation is retroactively effective July 1, 2013.

MCER NO. 14-13:   ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION
                               Schedule of Fees for Permits, Licenses, and Certifications – Method 2

SUMMARY:  This regulation updates the reference to Executive Regulation 5-98, in section X. Miscellaneous B. to Executive Regulation 13-13 which changes the Automation Enhancement Fee from 10% to 5% and reduces the permit fee threshold for new mid-rise residential construction from $8,000,000 to $4,500,000.  The regulation would make permanent the fee reduction allowed by temporary regulation 14-13TAM.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 14-13 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process. This regulation is retroactively effective July 1, 2013.

MCER NO. 15-13:   ADOPTED DEPARTMENT OF PERMITTING SERVICES REGULATION
                               Schedule of Fees for Permits, Licenses, and Inspections  - Method 3

SUMMARY:   This regulation updates the reference to Executive Regulation 5-98, in sections 1.A.8., II.A.8., VI.A.8. to Executive Regulation 13-13 which changes the Automation Enhancement Fee from 10% to 5%.  The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 6-11 and 15-13T.

ACTION:   Executive Regulation, 15-13, was promulgated according to the Method 3 process.   This regulation is retroactively effective July 1, 2013.

                               Tree Canopy

SUMMARY:  This regulation establishes procedures for implementing the Tree Canopy Law, Chapter 55 of the Montgomery County Code.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 22-13 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective March 1, 2014.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 23-13 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective March 1, 2014.

SUMMARY:  This regulation establishes procedures for implementing  the Streets and Roads – Roadside Trees Protection Law, Chapter 19 of the Montgomery County Code.

ACTION:  Executive Regulation 24-13 was approved by the County Council according to the Method 2 review process, effective March 1, 2014.
