PROPOSED ETHICS COMMISSION REGULATION
Ethics Regulations
SUMMARY: The proposed Ethics Commission regulation establishes Commission policies and procedures for addressing violations of the Public Ethics Law; administrative policies and procedures for outside employment requests; guidance concerning misuse of prestige of office and improper influence; guidance on gift acceptance; and ranges of value for financial disclosure by elected officials. The proposed Commission regulation would supersede Regulation No. 11-15, Regulation No. 8-00 and Regulation No. 25-01. (Executive Regulation 8-00 has been treated as effective, although it was originally to sunset on July 1, 2001).
