MCER NO.15-17: PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF FIRE AND RESCUE SERVICE REGULATION
Administration of the LOSAP Program
SUMMARY: The Length of Service Award Program recognizes the service that volunteer firefighters, rescuers, emergency medical service providers, and administrative members deliver to the citizens of Montgomery County. This regulation establishes uniform procedural guidelines to administer the LOSAP program. The proposed regulation 15-17 would supersede Executive Regulation 17-00.

MCER NO.17-17: PROPOSED DEPARTMENT OF POLICE REGULATION
Anti-Cruelty Conditions of Dogs
SUMMARY: Proposed Executive Regulation 17-17 interprets State anti-cruelty laws by regulating how dogs are to be transported in open bed vehicles, the conditions under which a dog may be tethered, and what constitutes adequate space and shelter or protection from weather for outdoor dogs. The proposed regulation would supersede Executive Regulation 10-10AM.

MCER NO.18-17: PROPOSED OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT REGULATION
Local Small Business Reserve Program
SUMMARY: This regulation amends the Local Small Business Reserve Program Regulations to increase the dollar amount of County Contracts awarded, above which a business is no longer eligible for a procurement under the Local Small Business Reserve Program. The proposed regulation 18-17 would supersede Executive Regulation 6-15.
