MCER NO. 11-23:  ADOPTED MONTGOMERY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND COMMUNITY AFFAIRS REGULATION
                             Moderately Priced Dwelling Unit Program
 
SUMMARY:  This executive regulation will achieve three (3) things.  l) It clarifies the rent rate calculation method for townhomes in the MPDU program, 2) The executive regulation also provides a basis on which to calculate payments due to the Housing Initiative Fund for rental buildings that are between 11-19 units and establishes a process to collect such payments. 3) Finally, the regulation makes stylistic editorial changes to be consistent with other MPDU Regulations. The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 11-18AM.   

ACTION:   
Executive Regulation 11-23 was approved according to Method 1 review process and became effective May 7, 2024.

MCER NO. 3-24:   ADOPTED MONTGOMERY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES REGULATION
                            Crime Victim Compensation Fund - Alterations
 
SUMMARY:  The regulation updates the name of a program in COMCOR Section 02.42A.01.01; states that a deceased victim’s final disposition costs may be compensated from the fund in COMCOR Section 02.42A.01.04; increases the Crime Victim Compensation Fund maximum amount of compensation in COMCOR Section 02.42A.01.05; and makes conforming changes to COMCOR Section 02.42A.01.06.  The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 19-20.   

ACTION:    
Executive Regulation 3-24 was approved according to Method 2 review process and became effective April 30, 2024.

MCER NO. 6-24:   ADOPTED MONTGOMERY COUNTY DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION REGULATION
                            System Benefit Charges - Residential Waste Estimates
 
SUMMARY:  The regulation establishes the calculated amount of solid waste generated per dwelling unit for single-family and multi-family dwellings.  The adopted regulation supersedes Executive Regulation 8-23.   

ACTION:    
Executive Regulation 6-24 was approved according to Method 2 review process and will be effective July 1, 2024.
