- Professional Development Center provides professional clothing, free-of-charge, for job seekers to wear to work or job interviews or on the job. To set up an appointment please email: [email protected].

- Clothing Center provides clothing, shoes, and diapers. Call first to confirm they are open. Catholic Charities Center also provides case management, crisis intervention, food assistance, and financial assistance.

Diapers & Baby Items
- Greater DC Diaper Bank:
- Works with local partners to distribute diapers, formula, etc. (does not provide diapers directly to families). Visit website and scroll to middle of page for the list of organizations in Maryland that distribute diapers to families in need. Review information for each organization, as procedures are different for each one.

- Montgomery County’s Service Consolidation Hubs
- Provide food assistance, diapers, and other basic necessities from several locations throughout the County. Some Hubs can also connect residents with other necessary services.

- Provides free beds, furniture, dishes, pots, pans, and other large and small home good items to families living without basic household items. Call to schedule an appointment and select the items you need. Also provides career counseling and other services.
- Some of Montgomery County’s Service Consolidation Hubs provide household necessities, such as cleaning supplies. Visit website and click on “See Hub Locations and Details” for information on the Service Consolidation Hubs throughout the County. Information is also available in Spanish.

- Provides household furnishings to refugee families in need. Visit website for information on how to request furnishings. Also has a fall and spring distribution of school supplies, books and toys to help youth with school and summertime learning.

- Leveling the Playing Field
- Provides new and gently used sports equipment to schools and organizations serving under-resourced youth.
- Maryland Durable Medical Equipment Re-Use
- The Maryland Department of Aging is providing durable medical equipment (DME) to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability, regardless of age, at no cost. All equipment is collected via donation and is sanitized, repaired, and redistributed to Marylanders in need. Examples include wheelchairs, walkers, shower chairs and tub transfer benches, toilet and bed safety rails, home hospital beds, etc.
