Special Note: Property data layer (if present) is a combination of data from Montgomery County Park and Planning Commission (P&P), Maryland State Department of Assessment & Taxation (SDAT), and the cities of Rockville and Gaithersburg. The map graphics was created by tracing the traditional paper tax maps and force fitting the digitized line work onto planimetric basemaps (edges of pavement, building footprints, etc.) As such, it is only an approximate representation of the land ownership parcels. It is definitely not a legal land record. Attributes associated with property parcels were extracted from SDAT database. Linkages between property parcels and attributes were originally created by TEBS-GIS and are being maintained by P&P and the cities. TEBS-GIS assembles the property data layer from the four source agencies quarterly. We are encouraged by a positive feedback (PDF) from a web user.
