Wheaton is home to cherished community celebrations like the Taste of Wheaton, HalloWheaton, and the Wheaton Arts Parade & Festival. The Mid-County Regional Services Center is proud to connect you with the spaces that make these events possible. Although this page showcases Wheaton’s county-owned public venues, all reservations are coordinated through the Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF) in partnership with the Wheaton Urban District (WUD).

Community Use Conference Room
The Community Use conference room serves as a dynamic space where County resources converge. Tailored for small meetings, impactful trainings, engaging seminars, support groups, yoga classes, and more, this space is aimed for community-focused initiatives. The maximum capacity for this space is 20-30. Priority will be given to community-fostered activities.

Marian Fryer Town Plaza
The Marian Fryer Town Plaza offers a large outdoor space providing natural lighting and relaxing city views, great for entertainment.
Features include:
- 20' x 30' stage covered by tensile canopy structure
- 6 levels of terrace Amphitheater seating
- Metro and Parking Accessible

Wheaton Veterans Urban Park
Wheaton Veterans Park is a one-acre Park that provides a beautiful open space in the downtown Wheaton area. This park is the perfect gathering space for small events, from Yoga classes to Salsa at Sunset. Please note that Wheaton Veterans Park was established to pay tribute to our military veterans who served this country.

How to Reserve
All county facilities in Wheaton available for public use are booked through the Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF). CUPF provides community organizations and public agencies with access to public schools and government facilities for community services, programs, and events. CUPF issues use permits for public access to County facilities at scheduled times. Visit the Community Use of Public Facilities (CUPF) website to reserve rooms or spaces.
Users may request space for events as far as 60 days in advance, but should provide a minimum of 45 days' notice. Last-minute reservations will be considered with no more than 14 days' notice. Reservations requests can be submitted through ActiveMONTGOMERY .
