Countywide Recreation & Parks Advisory Board

The Board is comprised of Montgomery County residents interested in working on matters relating to recreation/park policies and services, and assisting in developing, as well as maintaining, relationships with various agencies in the County on matters affecting recreation and park programs and services.

The Board also recommends budget items and new facilities to the Recreation Director and the Parks Director, and appears at special Recreation Department and Park Department functions.

Meetings occur the second Monday evening of each month, September through June, unless rescheduled due to holidays and/or inclement weather.
Meetings are hybrid and are held at 2425 Reedie Drive, alternating on the 3rd or 10th floor, Wheaton, MD 20902 and virtually via Microsoft Teams. A link will be sent upon request.
