Montgomery County Recreation provides many opportunities for individuals 55+ to participate in individual and team sports, and a variety of fitness programs. Sports programs currently include: billiards, badminton, basketball, pickleball, softball, table tennis and volleyball. Many of these are open gym drop-in programs and all skill levels are welcome. Many of the more formal leagues are co-sponsored with the Montgomery County Senior Sports Association (MCSSA).

The 55+ Programs Team offers a plethora of fitness and exercise programs at all of our program locations. To get an idea of the types of programs/classes offered, check out our monthly newsletters or call 240-777-4925. If you can’t find anything there, don’t give up! You can explore our exercise and fitness related classes. We’re sure you’ll be able to find something that strikes your fancy!
