If you have been released to Pre-Trial Services by a District Court Judge, a Circuit Court Judge, or a District Court Commissioner, you are under court order to report to the Pre-Trial Services Unit at 11651 Nebel Street Rockville, Maryland 20852
Remember: You have been released with the condition of Pre-trial Services Supervision as an alternative to your incarceration. Failure to report may result in the issuance of an arrest warrant and the placement at the Montgomery County Detention Center until your case is heard.
All defendants under Pre-trial Services Supervision are required to adhere to certain conditions of conduct. These include:
- A minimum of weekly contact (by telephone or in person as determined by a Pre-Trial Services Case Manager) with the Pre-Trial Office.
- Reporting any changes in your address or employment.
- Verification of address through scheduled or unscheduled home visits.
- Attending all court hearings.
- Remaining drug and alcohol free. All defendants under Pre-Trial Services Supervision are subject to drug and alcohol testing.
- Remaining arrest free.
Depending upon your particular circumstances you may also be subject to the following:
- Reporting to the Pre-Trial office two or more times per week.
- Drug and alcohol testing two or more times per week.
- Participation in drug or alcohol treatment.
- The requirement that you obtain court permission before you can change your address or leave the Washington metropolitan area.
- A “no contact” provision. Meaning you may not have any contact with an alleged victim or alleged co-defendants in your case.
- A curfew.
