Current Phase: Completed

Canopy roof was installed on 12/04/2024. It will be taken down, on 12/27/2024, for storage during winter. A ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for the spring 2025.

This project provides for installation of a new pre-engineered outdoor fabric shade canopy over existing roof plaza at Long Branch Library in the Silver Spring. In addition to the canopy, five new poles with steel cables supporting the canopy will also be constructed on site. Completion date is Fall, 2024.
