Current Phase: Design

Sheladia Associates, Inc. submitted the schematic/design development drawings on December 21, 2024. Review of the design drawings were completed on January 6, 2025. Submission of the contract documents in scheduled for February 28, 2025. Submission of the bid documents is scheduled for April 20, 2025. Construction is scheduled for August, 2025.

Sheladia and Associates has been retained to prepare the design of the library refurbishment in accordance with the Program of Requirements previously developed for the library. Among other things, the Program of Requirements call for addressing the noise in the children's area, adjusting and cleaning the glass canopy over the coffee shop entrance, replacing defective window blinds, replacing all sliding entrance doors with swing-out doors, replacing all damaged and dirty furniture along with carpeting and paint. In a separate project, installation of the window film on the rotunda and south walls was completed on December 27, 2024 and all punch list issues have been addressed.
