- 8-4-14 Maryland SHA: STATE HIGHWAY ADMINISTRATION RE-OPENS CEDAR LANE TO TRAFFIC-- While the road is now open to vehicular traffic, the 1000-foot section of Cedar Lane near MD 355 is still an active work zone. Continuing construction activity may require sidewalk closures on this section of Cedar Lane through late 2014. At the same time, farther south on Wisconsin, work will begin to reconfigure a major intersection where Wisconsin converges with Jones Bridge, Center Drive and Woodmont Avenue.

- 4-8-14 Washington Post: Road work set on Maryland commuter routes -- Most of the Maryland State Highway Administration projects that will affect travelers in the D.C. suburbs this construction season are repavings, but there are a few interchange, intersection and bridge projects that are likely to be even more noticeable. Here are some that commuters are most likely to notice: The Cedar Lane intersections are near the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, and the projects are part of several meant to ease traffic stemming from the federal base consolidations. The work is likely to have a moderate to high impact on traffic.
