Montgomery County Long Term Care / Nursing Home Ombudsman
A program of advocates for residents living in nursing homes and licensed assisted living facilities, including elderly group homes. The program has a large number of trained volunteers who regularly visit long-term care facilities, monitor conditions and care, and provide a voice for those unable to speak for themselves. Ombudsman help residents and their families understand and exercise their rights guaranteed by federal and state law.

Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection
Montgomery County Office of Consumer Protection is responsible for enforcing consumer protection laws prohibiting unfair and deceptive business acts to ensure a fair marketplace for consumers and businesses. Investigates and resolves consumer complaints and engage in consumer education and outreach.
