Park and Ride Lots
FREE Park-and-Ride Commuter Lots with connecting buses allow you to meet your carpool or jump onto public transportation.

Enter your address and the map will show the closest lot, the number of spaces, how you get to and from the lot, and all the bus routes and schedules serving that lot, by just clicking on the links.

Parking
Try these:
- Twinbrook East lot, accessed from Parklawn Drive
- Silver Spring County Garage on Bonifant Street, one-half block from station; monthly pass available for Metro users, call 301-565-7693
- Wheaton Metro garage next to Westfield Shopping Town Wheaton Plaza.
The MCDOT Division of Parking Management supports 3 Parking Lot Districts, 20 Parking Garages, 21 Parking Lots and over 21,500 total parking spaces.
HOV Lanes
It takes as few as two in a car to use HOV Lanes on I-270.
The 12-mile South-bound HOV lane from I-370 to I-495 operates 6 to 9 am Monday through Friday, and the northbound HOV lane from I-495 (Capital Beltway) to MD 121 (Clarksburg Road) operates 3:30 to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday.
