This project provides for a facility planning study of multimodal improvements, such as pedestrian and bicycle facilities safety and connectivity improvements, access improvements to nearby bus stops and the Germantown MARC train station, in Germantown. The project limit is on Wisteria Drive from Great Seneca Highway (MD 119) to Germantown Road (MD 118) and on Middlebrook Road (MD 113) from Great Seneca Highway (MD 119) to Germantown Road (MD 118).
A Public Meeting will be held on November 8, 2023, at 6:30 PM to talk about the project. The project team will present the concept proposed improvements for Wisteria Drive and Middlebrook Road, collect your feedback, as well as answer any questions you might have about this project. Registration is required .
This meeting will be accessible both in-person and virtually, and meeting materials will be posted on the project website prior to the scheduled meeting. The in-person meeting will be held at the Upcoming Regional Services Center ( 12900 Middlebrook Road, Germantown, MD 20874 ), and the virtual meeting link will be sent out via email prior.
