Old Baltimore Road Sidewalk Proposal

The Old Baltimore Road Sidewalk Proposal offers for examination and comment the potential installation of a 5-foot-wide, ADA-compliant, concrete sidewalk along Old Baltimore Road in Olney from Menden Farm Drive to the shared use path around the lake.

Project Schedule

  • The Old Baltimore Road Sidewalk Proposal was issued to residents for questions and comments on August 12, 2022.
  • The Virtual Public Hearing for the Old Baltimore Road Sidewalk Proposal was held Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., to present the project scope, obtain community testimony and answer questions. Visit the Project Documents tab to view the Partial Public Hearing Record, which includes a recording of the virtual public hearing.
  • The Record for the Hallowell Community Sidewalk Proposal will close on January 11, 2023. All written testimony submissions must be received by the January 11, 2023 deadline. Thereafter, the Hearing Officer will thoroughly review the full Hearing Record and draft Recommendations to the Director. The Recommendations will then be transmitted to the Director’s office with the full Hearing Record for his review and final decision. Upon receipt of the final decision, the Sidewalk Program will mail notifying correspondence of the decision to all residents on the project mailing list. The Recommendations will be enclosed.
