Montgomery County Government, Montgomery Parks, the City of Rockville, the City of Gaithersburg and the City of Takoma Park and other agencies are committed to the safety of all residents and visitors. For this reason, these agencies came together to create a Task Force to streamline communication about, and coordinate responses to, issues related to mosquitoes and public health.  

While the public health concerns may change and adapt over time, mosquitoes will continue to be a natural part of our environment in Montgomery County. Further, climate change is expected to impact the range of mosquitoes and long-term weather patterns. The County needs to be a forefront of mosquito related concerns, ready to respond and adapt. 
 

Mosquito Control Task Force
