Services
Fleet provides a variety of services to other agencies and the public.
Fleet is leading the way with innovative and ground-breaking support for CNG and E-85 (ethanol) fueling facilities available to the public. Fleet maintains vehicles and equipment for non-County governmental agencies. In addition, Fleet provides County departments with access to a fleet of motorpool vehicles.
Fleet Management Services has 13 fuel sites under its jurisdiction. These include 9 sites available to all County personnel and additional government customers. We have 4 sites used for specific County needs like fueling Ride-On buses. Fleet offers Unleaded, Diesel, CNG and E-85 fuel types. In addition, Fleet Management Services has 9 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging station sites for County vehicle use. Please go ahead to check the location and fuel type offered in each site.
Fleet Management Services has one public use fueling station. This site continues the longstanding tradition of making green fueling alternatives available to the public within the County. The site offers Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) as well as E85. The CNG site is accessible to heavy duty trucks as well as light duty automotive fueling.
CNG is compressed from the same natural gas that is used to most of the homes in the US to higher pressures to support automotive applications.
E-85 is 85% ethanol (15% gasoline) and it is made from corn. Both fuels are cleaner burning, renewable sources of energy and reduce the nation's dependence on foreign oil.
The upgraded site capable of supporting both truck as well as automotive fueling. Vehicle fueling only, no bottles/containers.
E-85 is 85% ethanol (15% gasoline) and it is made from corn. Both fuels are cleaner burning, renewable sources of energy and reduce the nation's dependence on foreign oil.
This site has two hoses that pump E-85 Fuel for public use.
In both cases your vehicles must be specifically designed to run on either fuel type. Consult your vehicles owner’s manual to determine whether or not your vehicle is capable of using either of these environmentally-friendly alternatives.
Only one EV site, the Travilah Recreation Center, is available to the public.
In order to offer this valuable service to our community, the County requires that customers sign this waiver before fueling their vehicle. This waiver holds the County harmless in case someone whose vehicle cannot handle either fuel type uses it and experiences problems.

Many of Fleet's external customers see the sense of outsourcing their fleet management needs to an organization like Fleet rather than duplicating the facilities and staffing expertise that the County already possesses.
