Parking Inventory Database
Summary
- The design and development of this database was completed in-house by the Division of Parking Management.
- The purpose of this program is to consolidate multiple databases into one central application.
Objective
- To develop one central application to manage all parking space inventory that can be used by county staff, contractors and parking customers. Data will be published to a portal for vendor consumption and mobile application development.
Plan
- To develop an application that incorporates multiple functions. These functions include: parking space inventory database, garage and surface lot plans, and GIS maps.
- Publish data in a consumable format to data.montgomery.
- Data from application dynamically feed to parking website.
