Mobile Payment Only Pilot Program
To provide a contactless payment option, minimize infrastructure costs, create turnover and enable bioretention systems, MCDOT has begun piloting payment exclusively by phone at select locations.
Once the free app is downloaded and an account is created, parkers can begin a session by entering the seven-digit zone number located on signs near their space space. Click here for more information on the County's mobile payment program.

The program will be expanded to a block of Second Avenue in Silver Spring on or about August 30, 2021. Abundant metered parking allowing customers to pay via coins and credit cards is available on nearby streets in Silver Spring for those looking for a payment alternative.
